Marionette experience in Prague. Master Puppeteer Pavel Truhlář

During our trip in Prague my children and I visited the Karel Zeman Museum. On the border of two Prague districts, right at the famous Charles Bridge, the museum of the animator, director and screenwriter cannot but please the children. But before entering the cozy courtyard of the museum, we walked around the area in which it is located.

Tiny windows by artists, tightrope walkers in the courtyards, Christmas market with fragrant Czech buns. But the most striking impression is the puppet shop, in which there are good fairies, provocative jesters, sea wolves, harmful princesses and strict military men. Each character in this store had a soul, and picking up a puppet, it became clear that she was really alive.

When we saw an announcement on the door of the house of fairy-tale heroes that the master was conducting puppet workshops, I decided to ask the seller if the master class was suitable for kids of the age of Nicole and Leo (7 and 4 years old). The woman confirmed that the children would be able to make a puppet, showed how to get to the studio and advised Paul to call if we decided to try.
